That’s why we prioritize our school nutrition program and farming initiatives — they’re critical to meet both immediate and long-term nutritional needs by importing food and through expanding agriculture in the war-ravaged communities where we serve.

  • In Sudan, nearly 25 million people — half the population — are experiencing severe food insecurity.
  • While in South Sudan, over 7 million people, or nearly 57% of the population, are projected to face crisis-level hunger.

Conflict, rising prices, water scarcity, and climate extremes continue to drive record hunger — and increasing rates of human trafficking.
