Lift Up the Vulnerable (LUV) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that prevents the trafficking and oppression of vulnerable children and women and empowers them to be changemakers in their communities.
In the impoverished warzones of Sudan and South Sudan, children and women are exploited through modern-day slavery — kidnapped as child soldiers, sold as sex slaves, and trapped in forced labor — which dehumanizes people and destroys their lives.
Our solution is a holistic model which prevents trafficking by providing protection, education, and economic development to eliminate the exploitation of vulnerabilities and restore hope.
We envision a world where vulnerable children and women are empowered and, through them, war-torn nations are transformed.
